About me
I am a licensed psychologist and psychotherapist with exams from Stockholm University. My focus is on CBT, cognitive behavioral therapy, and I have specialist competence in clinical psychology. My professional background as a psychologist spans about fifteen years, ten of which were in psychiatry in an service characterized by network and family perspectives. My understanding of the human being is also shaped by family systems theory and attachment theory.
Over the past five years, I have worked in stress and pain rehabilitation where I have used methods from the third wave of CBT; Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness.
In addition to this, I have a dance therapy degree from the Stockholm University of the Arts. The method focuses on psychodynamic theory (PDT) in combination with movement/dance. I have about ten years of experience from dance movement therapy in elderly care, community support, schools and in private practise. I also have a background as a trained dancer and have worked as a dance teacher and professional dancer earlier in my career.
I am keen to work according to high professional standards. Psychologist and psychotherapist are protected professional titles and my licenses have been issued by the National Board of Health and Welfare. My practice is registered with the Health and Social Care Inspectorate (IVO) and I am a member of the Psychologists' Entrepreneurs, which includes both business and patient insurance. I follow the professional ethical guidelines that apply to psychologists.
